Sexy Car: Jaguar C-Type 2012

Jaguar would be developing (supposedly) a direct rival to the Porsche Boxster, Audi TT, BMW Z4, Nissan 370Z and Mercedes SLK. The dilemma, if this becomes reality, would be in the name because, as Auto Express informs, the same would be C-Type. A model that won many races at Le Mans and that gave Jaguar, design and sportsmanship that the signature was missing at that time.

If the C-Type 2012 comes to reality,the name chosen is too much for it, because unlike the C-Type from the 50s, the new would not, nor even the segment to which belonged the legendary model (supercar racing, although it was on sale) and be located just below the XK, which would not be appropriate. The name must be other, as XE for example, what do you think?

Assumption C-Type 2012 incorporate the new engine that Jaguar has on the XF and XK, where these include the 3-liter turbo diesel and the new high-V6 and V8 engines. The C-Type, the new XJ, and other models being developed by Jaguar, possibly see in the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. For now, and as usual, are just rumors.
